Last year's CES, LG exhibited a 65-inch flexible-screen TV LGSignature OLED TVR that can roll out from the base, and at CES 2020 LG will launch another big UHDOLED screen that can roll to the ceiling, which is also 65 inches. LG said the screen \"can be pulled down when needed and rolled up when not in use,\" maximizing the space - like a projection screen.
The change isn't as simple as turning the TV upside down. Tim Alessi, director of LG's new product development department, says the first OLED screen to hang up was made early, but you'll have to find a way to flip it over, even if the ceiling is too high to affect the viewing experience. The problem of image inversion should be solved, but there are no specific details about how LG solves the ceiling height problem.
LG has also brought in a number of other new displays, including three designed for airplanes: a range of 55-inch OLED TV walls for airplane cabins; a 55-inch full-definition transparent OLED display for use as an aisle partition; and a 65-inch UHD bendable OLED screen with flexible ends for first-class cabins. In addition, in the field of automotive technology, LG will also show its plastic OLED displays of various sizes.
